Working with Lisa was amazing. She pretty much transformed my house from a bunch of boxes and stuff thrown haphazardly everywhere (we just moved in) to a place that I find incredibly comfortable, well organized, and simply beautiful. She really knows what she's doing with storage and ideas, organization, and her specialty, plant styling/design. Just walking through my house now, I am so, so happy. Knowing that I have a black thumb, she coached me through the care of each of the amazing plants she put in my home. (Tip: ask her if she can put a schefflera in your bedroom! Ours is STUNNING. I just stare at it.) I can also feel minutes being added back on to my day now. In a time impoverished society, it's priceless. I know exactly where my stuff is and it's in a place that makes total sense that I definitely would not have come up with on my own. I knew that organization was not my forte, so let's bring in the expert! I really couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Lisa. I felt that working with Lisa was also money very well spent - she is incredibly efficient and such a hard worker. There were times where I was working at home while she was doing her thing and I was amazed by how hard she works! Finally, I absolutely LOVED her model of using what you already have. I feared hiring a professional organizer who would have made me buy a million and one plastic containers and a label maker for all my pantry items - no thank you (though if that IS your thing, Lisa can do that - I've seen past projects of her and it's very well done.) If anything, Lisa's approach had me thinking of buying LESS - the few items she did recommend us purchasing really made a huge difference. I could go on and on, but I will end on the note that the process was very enjoyable, minimally intrusive on our busy schedules, and Lisa is an overall extremely cool person and fun to be around.

Working with Lisa was great! I had no idea how to organize my house and she thought of things that wouldn't even occur to me. Salt in an accessible little bowl, lazy susan in the cabinet, plants in the house?? Lisa worked with me to make my house a place where I liked being again and I was happy to have company over. I was hesitant to hire someone to help after several bad experiences with construction workers and handymen, but Lisa exceeded all expectations. There were a few days where I had to jump on a work call or run back to the office and every time I came back I was amazed at how much work she had gotten done. A big part of organizing and cleansing my apartment was to be sustainable even when getting rid of things. I love that Lisa would reuse if possible, donate if we couldn't reuse, and worse case recycle if nothing else could be done. Not only did I feel good about my apartment getting organized but it felt good to help others out at the same time.

I was pretty pleased with my experience with Lisa. She came in initially to help only with my home office, as I was preparing to increase my side business and was going to need to use it as an actual Office space, rather than storage. She in fact helped me with office, kitchen, closets and more. She came up with good re-purposing ideas for most of my existing pieces, and everything that I was holding onto that in fact didn't need to keep, was donated to the woman's shelter in DTLA (which she loaded up her own car with to drop off, and sent me the receipt for tax uses), Goodwill or donated to friends and co-workers (all good stuff, but I just didn't need it all). She also was clever with how to organize items in groups and used my covered staircase (which I don't use) as a storage solution and put items like camping chairs up on the side walls to free up closet space in the main part of the house. She helped me declutter and rid myself of items that weren't practical anymore. We didn't do every single thing she suggested, as there's a need for compromise on some of the ideas, but I was overall very happy with how she helped me to better my home and items. She's got a tough attitude at times, but that's part of her job. She is there to help declutter your life... so take what she says as constructive, she's doing her job to help. Might be a bit tough to hear at the time, but she does a good job of lessening the CRAP most of us have. Haha! She is fun to talk with and comes up with plans for what you need and need to do once she's finished with the job and has goals set for what you can do on your own once she's gone, which helped me to keep on track and finish at the pace that I was comfortable with, like putting up added shelving in closets (which I needed help from my bf with), getting a more practical trash bin and more.

What an experience! Working with Lisa was incredible - I hired her to help me with my master bedroom closet but we ended up doing the entire house over the course of 2 days! Lisa helped me get rid of things we didn’t need and pushed me to question whether things were useful and meaningful or just "stuff". My house feels not only more organized and efficient but also homier and lighter without all the clutter. I especially liked that Lisa didn’t try to push me to buy new things but rather worked with what I had to ensure that everything was organized and had a place within our home. Okay, where do I start? I am overjoyed with Lisa Shields! I hired Lisa to help me organize my kitchen. I’m getting married in August and was feeling anxious about all the items on our registry coming in with no place to put them. Enter Lisa! Not only did she help completely purge, reorganize, and make my kitchen beautiful, she tackled other areas in our home like the dining area, living room, bathrooms (all of them), and closets. Oh, and the office! I am in awe of her work - I seriously couldn’t sleep because I was so excited to check out all of her work. She is also just an amazing person and fun to be around. I instantly trusted her instincts and eye and felt comfortable with her going through every drawer in our home :) In addition to being an A+ organizer, she has such a fantastic eye for design and style. It was the best investment in myself when I hired Lisa Shields to make my home feel more relaxing and ultimately a place that I would look forward to being in every day.

I was struggling to follow through on organization and getting rid of things I no longer used, and attempting to style my condo but not achieving the look that I wanted. I originally researched home organization services near me, but several of them quoted me hourly minimums for a team of 3 people to only help with decluttering. I came across Lisa’s website and decided to reach out based on her capabilities to organize, style, and incorporate plants all herself. I was happy to receive a prompt response, and after the initial consult felt very comfortable and excited to move forward.

Lisa delivered on creating more space throughout my entire condo with smart organization solutions, and then interior style recommendations that breathed warmth and new life into the space. Additionally, a previously unused small patio is now an inviting space with seating and plants that also serve to create some privacy facing a busy street.

Lisa is able to problem solve quickly and has an eye to create something beautiful with your space while simultaneously using a lot of what you already have. She helped create new organizational systems in the kitchen and closet, which allow me to save time in my day to day. We were able to achieve a big difference with lighting, rugs, and plantscaping all throughout the home. She was able to make me feel at ease with her friendly attitude and approachability, and also always treated her work seriously and with professionalism.

Lisa was a lifesaver in providing plant design for our West Hollywood lounge project. She completely outfitted our space with a wide variety of high end indoor and outdoor plants and pottery. We were on a tight deadline, and Lisa was flexible and able to source materials quickly and come up with creative solutions for a difficult patio space. She was able to create a beautiful aesthetic on our outdoor patio with vines for privacy and extra-large foxtails to draw the eye up and make the space feel larger. Lisa easily adapted to last minute architectural and design issues that differed from our original plans as well as last minute interior design styling changes. We were completely impressed with the finished product and her selection of plants and pottery that compliment and elevate the colors and overall design style of the space. For example, she added high end terra cotta pots to compliment our interior blue wood bookcases and added warmth to our black and white couches and cool toned tiles on the patio. Her selection of plants and pottery transformed our space from a luxurious, but sterile environment to a warm and inviting space that felt "done." We are continuing to use Lisa for plant care, and I look forward to working with her on future commercial and residential projects.
